Chemistry as easy as a Piece of Cake

HELLO Knowledge Seekers,

My name is Ibrahim Walydh, 28 years, more than 7 years in chemistry teaching of Cambridge CIE syllubus. I tought chemistry to the grades of 8, 9 and 10 in various famous school of Maldives.

From my past years of experiences I came across to a daunting conclusion that, for the students, CHEMISTRY seems to be the most difficult, most boring,  among all science subjects, with biology the easiest to score marks. It is not only because of the abstract concepts which students have to learn through imagination drawing, but also they have to walk through the path of chemistry misconceptions that is hard to believe to prove them that they are correct. Not to mention, I myself had such an immense pressure on chemistry part of my mind, when i was doing the 'O" levels.

Once an old man say, "Keep it simple and sweet". So do I and finally decided to start this blog, to make things easier for everyone studying Fundamentals of Chemistry. If you use this blog thoroughly and to the fullest, Your A+ is guaranteed, after all, success comes from a little try to a hardship of hard work. (Lets say this blog may be a shortcut for that hardwork, :).

In This blog, I will be uploading "Notes" Worksheets" "Past Paper Questions (Topic wise) and "Video demonstrations" for each Topics with "Exam Tips" presented in a way that will be very very easy to follow! You know like peice of cake!. These resources are arranged through years of experience. and its all free for all students and anyone who is willing to use it for their benefit.

So Buckle up my friends to embark on a wonderful chemistry journey with the following MAIN TOPICS.

1 THE PARTICULATE NATURE OF MATTER
2 EXPERIMENTAL CHEMISTRY
3 THE PERIODIC TABLE
4 FORMULAE, STOICHIOMETRY AND THE MOLE CONCEPT
5 ELECTROLYSIS
6 ENERGY FROM CHEMICALS
7 CHEMICAL REACTIONS
8 THE CHEMISTRY AND USES OF ACIDS, BASES AND SALTS
9 METALS
10 ATMOSPHERE AND ENVIRONMENT
11 ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

So, See you soon with the first lesson of the blog. INTRODUCTION TO CIE CHEMISTRY.
